Because cats can be sensitive and just a tad particular, at Canine Acres we are sensitive to your cat’s unique needs. Our cattery is the perfect second home for your cat.
At Canine Acres we recognize that cats can be very particular pets. They are sensitive to their surroundings, unfamiliar smells and sounds, and new people. We were mindful of these feline tendencies when we designed our Cattery, a space designated only for cats on the second story. Peaceful music continuously fills our Cattery to create a relaxing environment.
In our Cattery, each feline guest has its individual double-decked “condo” with an adjacent tinted litter box area. Both sides of each condo are glass, allowing the cats to look outside through the large picture windows overlooking the rural scenery and activities. Our cat condos can accommodate two cats, so feel free to bring the fam!
Each guest is individually monitored and charted throughout the day. During these inspections, we check on their overall well-being, making sure their condo and litter box are clean and that they have fresh water.

Vaccine Requirements
Cats four months and older need up-to-date documentation of Feline Rabies and Distemper vaccinations administered by a veterinarian.
Multiple Pet Rates
Multiple cats (same condo) 20% off.
*First pet is regular rate with 20% off for each additional cat.
Non-Business Hours Fee
When we are closed to the public, requested departures and arrivals shall incur a $50.00 fee. If it is an after-hours check-out, you will be charged for that night’s stay as well.
Feeding
We encourage you to bring your pet’s regular food. Our house food is available at a rate of $2 per meal.
Medication / Geriatric Cat
Medication is administered free of charge. Advanced medication will be administered at an additional fee. NOTE: Due to the fragility of an older and/or diabetic cat, we do not board any cat that is diabetic OR any cat that is over the age of twelve. Any cat that is over the age of 8 must have a senior pet form.

What are your boarding business hours?
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
Sunday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm
Closed Holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
*Although our lobby is closed on holidays, our boarding caregivers provide all the regular boarding care and exercises.
Can you administer medication for my pet?
Medication is administered free of charge. Advanced medication administration will be provided at an additional fee.
When is boarding check-in and check-out time?
You are welcome to check-in or check-out your pet anytime during our regular business hours on the day of their departure.
What if I must cancel my boarding reservation?
Cancellation of your boarding reservation should be given a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled check-in day.
Are there minimum or maximum boarding nights?
We reserve the right to require a minimum night stay during our peak seasons and holiday weekends. Canine Acres offers long-term boarding at a discounted rate.
What can I bring along for my pet?
You are encouraged to bring your pet’s regular food as a sudden change of food can cause pets to have an upset stomach. We ask that you please bring your pet’s food in an airtight storage container.
You are welcome to bring a blanket or bed (must be machine washable) for your pet’s comfort while boarding. You may also pack toys or treats. Should you choose not to bring your own bedding, we do provide bedding for all our boarding guests . All cats must be in a pet carrier while on the Canine Acres’ premises.
What will you feed my pet during its stay?
If you choose not to bring your pet’s regular food, it will be fed our house food. Our house food includes no corn, soy, or wheat (common allergens) and consists of human consumption-grade ingredients. Designed for sensitive stomachs, it is particularly excellent for boarding when new stimuli may cause digestive upset in some pets. We offer this food to your pet(s) for an additional fee.
Will my cat be with other cats?
All cats will stay in their own condo or with another cat in the same family if requested.
